On 23rd June Postdoctoral Research Associate Kate Tomlinson joined in with celebrations for International Women in Engineering Day by giving a short talk in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. As well as explaining some of her research, Kate shared her story of how she got into engineering following a career change. She spoke about how the quote “you have to see it to be it” resonates with her and how she hopes to be a positive role model for the next generation.
